AZL Giants Black Take Nail-Biter Over Mariners
The San Francisco (AZL) AZL Giants Black defeated the Seattle (AZL) Mariners, 4-3, in 10 innings in Arizona Rookie League action at Emperors Stadium. San Francisco (AZL) pitcher Josh Goad had a standout performance. San Francisco (AZL) pitcher Luis Canamar earned the win, hiking his record to 4-1. Bobby Dunham suffered the loss. After today's action, San Francisco (AZL) sits at 27-10, while Seattle (AZL) falls to 23-14.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when San Francisco (AZL) right fielder Charlie Bates, facing Bobby Dunham, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the AZL Giants Black the 4-3 win.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Goad. "But we got it done."
