Athletics Improve to 35-19 with 4-1 Win
|
Oakland Athletics starter Ken Feck turned in an exceptional performance against the New York Yankees at Oakland Coliseum, resulting in a Oakland win, 4-1. Jose Dicochea got the save, the 19th for him this season. The Athletics now have a record of 35-19.
Nick Madrigal dealt the Yankees a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with the bases loaded and Oakland leading 1-0, Madrigal, who finished 2nd in the NL in on-base percentage with .396 in 2025, hit a full count fastball for a 2-run single.
Madrigal called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
