Minnesota (DSL) picked up a win at Baseball City Complex, toppling the New York A (DSL) Yankees 1, 3-2. Pitcher Nanni Fortichiari was one of the reasons the Twins triumphed. Fortichiari, now 1-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Luis Espinoza got the save, the 6th for him this season.
