Polley, Stripers Take Dramatic Game 1 for 1-0 Series Lead
The Gwinnett Stripers took the first game of the Round 2 in dramatic fashion today, topping the Charlotte Knights 7-6 in an extra-inning walk-off win. Stripers center fielder Eric Polley was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles.

With the game on the line, Eric Drysdale came to bat in the bottom of the 11th. And the Gwinnett right fielder came through, cracking a run-scoring single off Miguel Olivo, the Charlotte pitcher.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Polley said, postgame.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.
