Round 1 Game 1 Victory for Wrigt and Burlington
When he got to Burlington, Chris Wrigt was just worrying about staying on the roster. Today, he was starring in the Round 1.

The 22-year-old rookie left-hander shut out the visiting Peoria Chiefs 1-0 in a remarkable performance at Community Field today. With the win, the Bees took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 Round 1.

The Bees liked what they saw from Wrigt. The 22-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Chiefs to no runs on 5 hits over 7 innings, and striking out 6.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Wrigt.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Community Field in Burlington.
