Toronto Drops Another One, 7-4
|
Alex Kirilloff led Washington to a win over Toronto. The final score was 7-4. The left fielder collected 3 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. The slumping Blue Jays have lost 6 straight.
The Nationals got a big hit from designated hitter Blaze Jordan. In the bottom of the fifth, Jordan pounded a grand slam home run to right. His 32nd home run of the season put the Nationals ahead, 5-1.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Toronto skipper Daryle Ward.
