The Inland Empire 66ers picked up a win at LoanMart Field, knocking off the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, 5-0. On the mound for Inland Empire was left-hander Bob Ayala, who played a pivotal role in the win. Ayala got the win, improving to 10-2. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. Ayala allowed no runs. With the win, Inland Empire pushed its record to 50-30.

Inland Empire took a 5-0 lead on Amari Tolefree's 3rd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Tolefree hit in the top of the ninth, left Rancho Cucamonga pitcher Min-Had Thuc visibly frustrated.
