Jake Craine propelled his team to victory over the Frederick Keys. The final score was 4-3, Myrtle Beach. Greg Tarney snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-2 on the season. Randy Gorrell suffered the loss. The Pelicans, with just their 5th win in 20 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Jaheim Hedgeman was the walk-off hero for Myrtle Beach. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pelicans center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was rocking at the end," Hedgeman said.
