The Salem Red Sox defeated the Lynchburg Hillcats, 6-3. Second Baseman Jeff Butler deserved a large share of the credit. Butler went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times for the Red Sox. Amari St. Cloud earned the win to go to 13-2. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 7 innings of work. With the win, Salem goes to 84-35, while the Hillcats fall to 80-39.
