Uriostegui Hits for Cycle Against Tampa Bay Friday, August 25th , 2034 Alfredo Uriostegui accomplished one of the rarer feats in baseball today when he hit for the cycle against the Tampa Bay Rays in the 16-0 Cleveland Guardians win at Progressive Field. Afterward, Uriostegui acknowledged that his accomplishment was special, but said he was more interested in helping the Guardians win. "Maybe one day I'll look back on this with more meaning, but right now I just want to go out tomorrow and put some good swings on the ball and help my club win another game," Uriostegui said. On his historic day, he went 4-for-5 with 5 runs batted in and 3 runs scored -- and also got a spot in the history books. Alfredo Uriostegui flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Rogelio Figueroa in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, hit a three-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
