Gwinnett Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Tuesday, September 19th , 2034 The Gwinnett Stripers and Columbus Clippers hooked up in a classic Round 1 that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Gwinnett heading off to the Round 2, after a 5-1 win at Huntington Park tonight earned the 3-2 series win. Outside Huntington Park, whether they were supporters of Gwinnett or Columbus, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Rogelio Ramos played the hero for the Stripers in the series, as his MVP performance included a .412 batting average, with a .412 on-base percentage. He also had 1 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Gwinnett Stripers will play against the Charlotte Knights in the next round. Charlotte won their series against the Worcester Red Sox 3 games to 1.
