Ríos Day-to-Day with Injury Saturday, July 26th , 2166 Carlos Ríos, Cardinals standout center fielder, will be sidelined for a while due to a stiff back. He was injured while running the bases in yesterday's game against the Red Sox. Ríos called it "a day-to-day thing" and said he hoped to be back in action soon. This year Ríos is hitting .243 with 11 home runs and 34 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .312 clip and scored 41 runs. |
