|
Jesús Ríos of the DSL Arizona Diamondbacks put on a pitching clinic today at Houston Astros Complex as he struck out 18 DSL Houston Astros in a 3-0 victory. Ríos was simply magnificent as he held the Astros to 1 hit. He walked 2.
"I felt okay at the beginning," Ríos said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game."
When asked about Ríos's performance, Diamondbacks manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating."
