Jacksonville Bats Go Silent in 2-0 Loss
|
In a low-scoring game between the Carolina Catamounts and the Jacksonville Bombers, pitcher Tony Martin was masterful on the mound. The Carolina right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-0 win. Picking up the save was Liam Dealey, his 9th. The loss makes Jacksonville 13-18.
Bailey Johnson had a critical at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for Carolina. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Carolina in front, 2-0.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Johnson.
