Armstrong Smacks 5 Hits for Rangers
It was high-fives all around for Chris Armstrong at Texas Rangers Complex today.

He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the DSL Oakland Athletics. Armstrong smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 12-1 win.

"Chris was hitting everything," said Rangers manager . "It really was a special game for him."

In the opposing dugout, Athletics manager told BNN beat writers that Armstrong "ambushed" the club.

"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Armstrong oversleeps next time."

Chris Armstrong singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th and doubled in the 7th.

Batting .250 to date, Armstrong has 9 home runs and 29 RBIs.
