5-Hit Barrage by Dean
Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Erik Dean of the ACL San Francisco Giants had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate today in the 22-4 win over the ACL Carolina Catamounts at Oil Barons Ballpark.

"I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 23-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years."

Erik Dean hit a two-run triple in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in a run in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 8th, doubled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Pat Thomas in the 9th.

This year Dean has hit at a .398 pace and produced 58 RBIs, 13 home runs and scored 40 runs.
