Braves Take Down Giants, 5-0
|

Fernández threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball for the losing team. Atlanta pitcher Josh Thomas got the win, upping his record to 4-1. António Fernández got the loss. With this game in the books, Atlanta is 35-20, San Francisco 20-35.
The win was a team effort for Atlanta. Left Fielder Skip Larson was among the key contributors. In the top of the fifth, he put his team in front, 1-0, when he hit a run-scoring single.
