O'Mullane Mows Down 16 Twins
|
Steve O'Mullane of the DSL Texas Rangers put on a pitching clinic today at Baseball City Complex as he struck out 16 DSL Minnesota Twins in a 11-0 victory. O'Mullane was simply magnificent as he held the Twins to 1 hit. He walked 2.
"I felt okay at the beginning," O'Mullane said, "but eventually my forkball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game."
When asked about O'Mullane's performance, Rangers manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating."
