Bergeron Leads New York (A) Past Boston
|
In a tight game between the New York (A) Yankees and the Boston Red Sox, pitcher Tim Bergeron was terrific on the mound. The New York (A) right-hander helped his team to the 1-0 win. New York (A) is now 28-32, while Boston is 33-27.
Bergeron, who was born in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, threw 106 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing no runs.
"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," Bergeron said. "That's how it goes."
