Sánchez Delivers 4-1 Win
|
Philadelphia turned a good effort from starter Juan Sánchez into a win over the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park. The final score was 4-1. Philadelphia has a 6-game win streak, while Washington has lost 3 in a row.
Though he did not get the decision, Sánchez did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 6 innings, until Philadelphia eventually rallied past the Nationals.
"Nice to keep stacking the wins," said Sánchez.
