Padres Trip Mariners, 4-2, in Extra Innings
|
Mexico City rode a decent outing from starter Trey Smith to victory over the Seattle Mariners. The final score was 4-2. The win puts Mexico City at 53-43 this season.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the 11th, with Mexico City trailing 2-1, Ethan Glenn hit a sinker from Jarred Haig for a 3-run home run, giving the Padres the walk-off win.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Smith.
