Urbina Impressive in St. Louis Win
|
The St. Louis Cardinals got a stellar performance from pitcher Ernesto Urbina, who handcuffed the Boston offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Fenway Park. The Cardinals now have a record of 66-39.
Urbina, the winner, is now 10-5. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 1 hit, while collecting 4 Ks. He essentially shut down the Boston offense.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Urbina.
