Getting a good performance from center fielder Austin Meadows, the Chicago (N) Cubs defeated the Toronto Blue Jays, 6-4. Meadows went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Cubs. Pat Pittman, credited with the win, is now 6-11. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits in 5 innings.
