Cincinnati picked up a win at Great American Ball Park, toppling the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-2. Pitcher Duane O'Dell was one of the reasons the Reds triumphed. The winner in relief was Sergio Acuña. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 4-6. The last-place Reds sport a record of 48-78.

Joe Jones won the game for Cincinnati when homered off Tony O'Quinn in the bottom of the 11th.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said O'Dell.
