Dodgers Top Rockies, 3-2
|
Los Angeles (N) Dodgers starter Doug Burton was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Colorado Rockies, 3-2. José Tobías picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-1. Jorge Calderón was tagged with the loss. Jeff Clark earned the save for Los Angeles (N), his 20th of the year.
T.J. Greenham drove in one run for Los Angeles (N). In the bottom of the seventh, with the teams deadlocked, 2-2, Greenham delivered for the Dodgers. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Los Angeles (N) on top, 3-2.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Colorado manager Alvin Kaufmann.
With the win over Colorado, the Dodgers improved to 67-59.
