Royals Need Extra Frames to Get Past Astros
Ed Bunney was superb against Houston. The right-hander, who is tied for 4th in the AL with a 2.31 ERA, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Royals victory. The score was 3-2. The Royals raised their record to 77-61.

Though he didn't earn the victory, Bunney kept his team in the game until the bullpen took over and the Kansas City offense came through. Over 8 innings, he allowed 3 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 9.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Bunney.
