The Seattle Mariners got a superb performance from designated hitter Whit Parkinson, but the Texas Rangers still won the game, 6-4. Parkinson was 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Rangers improve their record to 62-87 with the win over Seattle.
