Chicago (A) White Sox pitcher Whit Nixon was in fine form, leading his team past the Houston Astros, 4-0. Nixon got the win, improving to 6-4. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Nixon allowed no runs. Ernesto Martínez got the save, the 42nd for him this season.
