Becerra Pops Two Homers in 6-4 Win for Minnesota
The Minnesota Twins downed the New York (A) Yankees, 6-4. The hitting star was first baseman José Becerra. Becerra was 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Twins. Earning his 14th save of the year was Dan Sears. The win lifted the Minnesota record to 82-75.

Becerra had a key at-bat for Minnesota early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 25th home run of the season and gave Minnesota an early 2-0 lead.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Becerra. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
