Rivera Tosses No-Hitter Against Memphis Monday, July 20th, 2026 Iowa Cubs starter Eduardo Rivera was unhittable today at Principal Park. Rivera beat the Memphis Redbirds 6-0, breezing through the Redbirds lineup en route to a no-hitter. "I thought Eduardo started off a little slow and was struggling with his command at first," Cubs manager said later. "He lucked his way through the early innings, and they helped him out by not being patient. Eventually, it all came together for him, and from there on the Redbirds never had a chance. He dominated them." Rivera struck out 7 batters and issued 8 walks in the performance. This year Rivera has fanned 80 in 84.2 innings and collected a 7-4 record with a 3.93 ERA.
