Bennett Hitless, Streak Ends at 20 Wednesday, May 28th , 2036 Joe Bennett had his hitting streak snapped at 20 games today during a 8-0 Oklahoma City win over the Sacramento River Cats at Raley Field. The 33-year-old first baseman was hitless in 4 at-bats. "Had to end sometime," Bennett said, shrugging. So far on the season Bennett is hitting .355 with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 49 hits and played in 36 games. |
