Season-Ending Injury for José Tovar Monday, August 19th , 2041 José Tovar will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Reno starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Tovar was injured while throwing a pitch in the Aces-Dodgers clash at Sierra Nevada Stadium recently. Doctors said he has biceps tendinitis and would be out a minimum of 6 weeks. To date this year Tovar has compiled a 9-5 mark with a 2.14 ERA in 21 starts. |
