AC Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, April 28th, 2025 25-year-old Greg Hughes made a few Omaha headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and American Conference officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 21 at-bats to put up a .476 average. Hughes collected 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. For the year Hughes is hitting .295 with 2 home runs. His stats include 14 runs batted in and 7 runs scored. |
