Smith Snares AC Top Batter Award in August Monday, September 1st, 2025 Steve Smith may be much younger than other hitters in the American Conference, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old Omaha first baseman hit .442 with 8 home runs, 20 RBIs and 14 runs scored. To date Smith has chalked up a .345 average with 12 home runs, driven in 41 runs and scored 28 times. |
