Just ask Ted Sharp of the Reno Aces -- the latest Pacific Conference Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. "My dad always told me to dream big and dream always," he said. The Aces pitching ace made some of his dreams come true this year, winning 11 games and losing only 8. In 30 starts, Sharp registered a 3.79 ERA and limited other clubs to a .263 batting average. He fanned 113 in 185.1 innings and issued 79 walks. He received 16 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Bob Anderson of the Sacramento River Cats finished second in voting, while Clarence Nelson of the Sacramento River Cats finished third.
