The 23-year-old center fielder put up a .296 average and a .352 on-base percentage, piling up 140 hits, 46 doubles, 7 triples, 29 home runs, 91 RBIs and 72 runs scored.

He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 16. Nathaniel Wigmore of the Round Rock Express finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while José Calderón of the Oklahoma City Dodgers finished third with 1 first place vote.
