Powers Awarded July's AAA West Top Bat Prize Thursday, August 1st , 2041 For a rookie just breaking in, Dan Powers certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the AAA West Batter of the Month award for July. The 32-year-old left fielder for the Salt Lake Bees hit .289 with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 18 runs scored. This year Powers has hit at a .225 clip with 58 RBIs, 25 home runs and 40 runs scored. |
