That's exactly what Ben Browning did today at Eastwood Field, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 10-0. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Browning said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The New Hampshire Fisher Cats right fielder blistered the Mahoning Valley Scrappers for 3 hits, batted in 8 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Mahoning Valley manager said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Ben Browning hit a two-run home run off Orlando Marino in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Orlando Marino in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jerry Ward in the 6th and walked in the 7th. Currently Browning is batting .304 with 7 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 17 runs and scored 8 times. |
