Yard Goats Browning Named AA NE's #1 Player Monday, August 12th , 2041 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Double-A Northeast, but last week Ben Browning of the Hartford Yard Goats reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Browning rocked opposing pitching for a .381 average (8-for-21), 4 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season, Browning has recorded a .233 batting average with 67 hits, 20 home runs, 56 RBIs, 41 runs scored and a .350 OBP. |
