Akron Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, August 8th , 2041 As bad as the Akron RubberDucks have been this season, some may still find it hard to believe that this early in the season, the team is already officially eliminated from playoff contention. Akron last appeared in the postseason in 2020. This is their 21st consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 26 times in their 27-year history. |
