Williams Blisters Frisco Wednesday, May 7th , 2042 It seemed that Tulsa center fielder Mal Williams could do no wrong as the Drillers KO'd the RoughRiders, 16-1 today. Williams rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches RoughRiders hurlers were throwing. "I think the Drillers were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Frisco fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Williams in the postgame press interview. Mal Williams flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
