Trejo Awarded August's TEX Top Bat Prize Monday, September 1st, 2025 José Trejo is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Springfield first baseman joined that select company when the Texas League announced the results of August's voting. Trejo totaled 29 hits, 12 walks, 10 home runs, 22 RBIs and 18 runs scored last month to put together a .261 batting average and .336 on-base percentage. This year Trejo has 36 home runs and a .312 batting average. |
