Watson and López Fight, Suspended 3 Games Sunday, July 28th , 2041 Today the league office handed out 3-game suspensions to Ronnie Watson of the Cardinals and Héctor López of the RockHounds for their roles in a benches-clearing skirmish at Hammons Field yesterday. The league commissioner said in the statement to both organizations, "This league does not condone fighting and aggressive conduct on the field, thus we had to take action to discourage this behavior in the future." Watson is hitting .293 in 2041 with 40 RBIs and 5 home runs. This season López has made 15 relief appearances, pitched 27.2 innings and struck out 20 with a record of 1 win and 2 losses.
