A- West Awards Player of the Week Monday, August 19th , 2041 Juan Sánchez made quite a splash in the Low-A West this past week. The Lake Elsinore Storm catcher drilled opposing pitchers for 10 hits in 19 at-bats to roll up a .526 batting average and the Low-A West Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 1 run scored to his club's offensive attack. Thus far this season in 36 games Sánchez is batting .400 with 4 home runs, 28 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 40 hits in 100 at-bats. |
