Peterson Hits in 25 Straight Games Saturday, June 20th , 2037 The hot bat of Storm second baseman Shawn Peterson continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 25 games after he went 1-for-3 in today's 10-4 loss to the 66ers at Arrowhead Credit Union Park. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Shawn Peterson flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd and singled in the 5th. For the season Peterson has hit .308 with 3 home runs and 17 RBIs. He has played in 50 games and scored 26 times. |
