Blue Jays Pérez Out Rest Of Season Sunday, May 25th , 2042 Dunedin reliever David Pérez suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Hammerheads. According to club doctors Pérez has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Although Pérez has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. For the season Pérez has 2 saves, tossed 15 innings, fanned 22 batters and produced an ERA of 8.40. He has also been credited with 1 win and 1 loss. |
