Palm Beach's González Sidelined for Season Wednesday, May 28th , 2042 The season is ending on a bad note for Robinson González, center fielder for the Palm Beach Cardinals. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. González was hurt against the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels while running the bases. He suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament and will be out for at least 8 months. So far on the season González is hitting .283 with 1 home run, 13 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 39 hits and played in 39 games. |
