A- East Announces Outstanding Batter Award Sunday, June 1st , 2042 At only 24 years of age, Don Caldwell could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, as May was one to remember for the center fielder and he has captured the Low-A East Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .323 with 7 home runs, 26 RBIs and 18 runs scored. This year Caldwell is hitting at a .311 pace with 8 home runs and 34 RBIs. He has played in 45 games and scored 24 times. |
