Cannon Ballers Deleón Strikes out 15 Wednesday, September 4th , 2041 Led by an outstanding performance from starter José Deleón, the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers topped the Myrtle Beach Pelicans today by a score of 7-1 at BB&T Coastal Field. The 32-year-old Deleón brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 1 hit and giving up no walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Pelicans manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."
