South Atlantic League Top Hurler Announced Sunday, October 2nd, 2033 B.J. Rodríguez walked away with the top pitching honors in the South Atlantic League this year. The Lexington Legends starter was named the Outstanding Pitcher Award winner for 2033 earlier today. This outstanding 31-year-old hurler fashioned a fine 20-2 won-lost record in 26 starts. He threw 193 innings, giving up 134 hits and 47 walks and holding opponents to a .194 average. Rodríguez struck out 202 and posted a 2.70 ERA. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 14. Ernesto Gonzáles of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Tony Price of the Lexington Legends finished third.
